Identity and design
Dan Soutar routed Kingston Heath at Cheltenham. Alister MacKenzie advised on bunkering and changed the fifteenth into a par three; later work also shaped the course.
Playing character and defining features
The fifteenth's raised green is a defining feature. Subtle fairway undulations, strategic sand and firm-ground options matter on otherwise relatively flat terrain.
