COURSE IDENTITY
What Monte Rei North is
The North Course opened in 2007 and is a par-72 Jack Nicklaus Signature design measuring about 7,182 yards from the championship tees. It is known for spacious surroundings, polished service and a quiet, low-density setting.
HOW TO PLAY
Choose the right tees
Do not automatically play the back tees. The course becomes much more enjoyable when you choose tees that give you realistic chances to reach par-4s in regulation and attack selected par-5s in three shots.

Respect the hazards
Water comes into play on many holes, and Nicklaus’s design frequently places hazards where an ambitious line looks tempting. Favor the safer side of fairways, accept conservative targets and avoid short-siding yourself around the greens.
BEFORE THE ROUND
Use the practice facilities
Arrive at least 60 minutes early. Monte Rei provides a driving range, short-game areas and a putting green, and the staff typically escorts players to the practice area before the first tee.
ACCESS
What you need to play
Visitors need a valid handicap certificate. The published recommended limits are handicap 28 for men and 36 for women, with exceptions at the golf director’s discretion. Soft-spike golf shoes and appropriate golf clothing are required.
