What makes New Kuta special
Designed by Ronald Fream, David Dale and Kevin Ramsey, the course uses limestone terrain, native scrub, long rough and ocean wind rather than lush parkland styling. The layout can challenge low handicappers while remaining enjoyable from the forward tees.
HOW TO PLAY
Play for position, not maximum distance
Use a conservative club from the tee when fairway bunkers or cliff edges are in play. Wind can be different at the tee and green, so check the flag and surrounding vegetation before choosing a club.

- Expect firm, grain-influenced putting surfaces

The ocean-facing holes are the visual highlight of the round. Hole 14, Dreamland, demands precision near the cliff, while Hole 15, The Cliff Hanger, is the course’s signature photographic moment.
