What to know
Identity and design
Willie Park Junior's Old Course opened in 1901. Harry Colt later altered several greens. Heather, gorse and pines frame a course with large, undulating putting surfaces.
Playing character and defining features
Cross-bunkers, ditches and heather banks create angled hazards. The greens' slopes make the approach position an important part of the test.
